Workforce Solutions serves Hidalgo, Starr, and Willacy counties through a network of partners located in the tri-county area and is one of 28 local workforce development boards in Texas.

The primary goal of Workforce Solutions is to respond to the needs of employers and job seekers by providing the resources needed to succeed in an ever-changing world. All employers are encouraged to take advantage of a multitude of services at no cost to them. Job seekers are invited to visit one of our five Workforce Solutions Offices to determine eligibility and access to our programs and various services.

Workforce Solutions is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to delivering publicly-funded training and employment services leading to the economic prosperity of our communities.

Workforce Solutions' Board of Directors is governed and lead by an appointed group of 25 community leaders from within the region representing business, education, economic development, community organizations, and government.
