The team at the Office for Business Partnerships (OBP) was created in order to better serve employers in the Hidalgo, Starr and Willacy counties. Our Business Service Consultants (BSC’s) are available Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer any questions regarding labor market information, wage information and staffing solutions. Along with our Business Service Consultants, the Office for Business Partnerships also houses the Business Development Specialists (BDS’s). These BDS’s specialize in assisting new businesses with their human resource and staffing challenges. - Recruit in one of our Workforce Solutions Centers - located in the Hidalgo, Starr and Willacy counties. These centers can provide a space where your recruiters can meet and interview job seekers.
- Have a hiring event at your jobsite or one of our centers with the assistance of our Staffing Consultants, who will make sure to refer the right candidates for your job openings.
- Partner with local chambers of commerce and economic development committees to promote economic development activities and projects.
