Funding for Workforce Services
The U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (DOLETA) has announced state allotments for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds for Workforce Investment Act (WIA) adult, dislocated worker, and youth; and Wagner-Peyser Employment Service (ES).
Workforce Solutions - Higalgo, Starr, and Willacy Counties will receive:

On April 7, 2009, the Texas Workforce Commission approved ARRA Allocations (pdf) for DOL funds for the Lower Rio Grande Valley area.
