Workforce Solutions Childcare Assistance Program
Workforce Solutions is currently providing Childcare Services for low-income, working families with access to quality,affordable childcare that allows them to continue working and contributes to the healthy, emotional and social development of the child. Families are required to cost share on a sliding scale based on family size, income and number of children in care.
In addition to helping low income, working families, the Childcare Assistance Program also serves:
- Families who are receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Teen parents seeking a high school degree or its equivalent
- Parents who are pursuing additional education to improve their job opportunities
If you or your family is determined to be eligible, you will need provide the following documentation to expedite the process:
Child Care Services Requirements:
- Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards for all Household Members.
If employed:
- Last (4) four checks stubs of employment.
- Proof of all other household income/benefits (i.e. child support, SSI benefits).
If training:
- Current Official school schedule and transcripts.
- If attending high school/GED program/Vocational school, a current letter of enrollment from your school.
Compliance with The Attorney General of Texas:
- If you have an active child support case with the Attorney General, you must provide proof that your case is open or if your case was suspended or closed.
- If receiving Parental Contribution: Submit copies of Money Order or Cancelled Checks and Parental Contribution Statements.
